About Split The Pot
Split The Pot calls itself a software developer of "cashout games". Its contact details list two companies, the Swedish Split The Pot AB and the South African Split The Pot (Pty) Ltd, and its home page says it is based in Stockholm and Johannesburg (Kyalami). The studio writes that it designs for players in emerging markets who deal with limited handsets, slow networks and high data costs, and it offers casinos games that are light on data, made for phones first and customisable.
Crash is only one of its formats. The studio describes one cash-out decision turned into crash games, "progressive challenges" and "instant outcomes", and Peru's register of game programs lists titles such as Plinko, Gold Rush, Street Dice, Wheel of Fortune and Rock Paper Scissors next to Taxi Ride and Comet Crash, all registered under one resolution of 14 October 2024, with Gaming Associates Europe named as the laboratory. Its games page adds a Zama Fruits game for each of the Big Five, a set the home page calls an "African Big 5 Series".
In the same register Split The Pot AB is supplier PSV0093, dated 5 March 2024, for game programs, cloud services and a remote game server; we give that entry as the studio's licence because it comes with a number. Under "Licensed by", the studio's compliance page also names three South African bodies, the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board, the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator and the National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications, and adds a manufacturing licence in Gauteng. It prints no numbers for them, so this page gives them as the studio's own statement.

What changes in the Deluxe editions of Split The Pot's crash games?
Taxi Ride Deluxe and Comet Crash Deluxe are separate games with demos of their own, and their Help screens differ from the originals' on two points: up to four bets a round instead of two, and a malfunction rule under which a game malfunction "voids all pays and plays" and the stakes are refunded. The originals' rule covers a malfunction due to a lost connection, and attempts a cash-out at the multiplier reached before the disconnection. What does Customizable RTP mean for a player?
