Comet Crash in South Africa: How Split The Pot's Space Crash Game Pays
Comet Crash is Split The Pot's crash game set in space; the studio gives Stockholm and Johannesburg as its bases. The further the comet goes, the bigger the win, as the demo's onboarding puts it, and a bet not cashed out before the comet crashes is lost. All players share each round, and each may place one or two bets. How a Comet Crash round works
The demo opens on a dark starfield with a ringed planet, two axes marked with dots and an orange comet resting where they meet. Its onboarding cards stay in character ("Hold onto your space suits, astronauts!") and warn that "one wrong move and you're cosmic dust".
The Help screen drops the theme. Everyone plays one round with one result, and how many join or what they stake or target "DO NOT affect" the game or any bet, the rules say in capitals. After a round, a countdown gives the seconds to the next one and the number of players already in it.
In a round the multiplier rises continuously until the crash; the Help's advice is to cash out before that, since the longer you wait, the greater the multiplier and the risk. A target wins when the result equals or passes it and is paid, stake included, at the target rather than where the round ended. In the Help's example a round ends at 5.43: picks of 5.43 and 5.12 win, 5.44 and 10 lose. The rules call the target "Cashout at"; the panel field reads Auto Cashout.

What the two bet panels hold
- Two separate bets. Each panel is its own bet with its own Play button; the rules let you use one or both in a round and settle them separately. The footer gives one RTP for the game, not one per target, and no staking pattern or system beats the house edge.
- Stake. Type an amount, step it with minus and plus, or tap one of three Quick Stake buttons (2, 10 and 25 in the studio's euro demo).
- Auto Cashout. Enter the multiplier you want and set the switch beside it to On: the bet is cashed out there automatically. If the round ends short of it, the stake is lost.
- Auto. Toggle Auto on and press Play, and that panel keeps entering round after round until you press Stop Auto; each panel has its own Auto. Fix a time and money limit before starting it.
- Game Statistics. Four tabs under the panels: Bets, Multiplier, Big Wins and Your Session.
When the satellites lose you
The comet theme reaches even the connection banner, which reads "Connecting to satellites ...". If your connection drops during a round, the Malfunction rule says a cash-out of your stake x the multiplier the round had reached when you disconnected "will be attempted". If the round had already crashed by the time the server registered the lost connection, the stake is gone.
Past rounds, predictors and signal groups 🚫
After a round the game shows, in the Help's words, "the result of the previous rounds": a record of what happened, not a forecast. The Help publishes no seed or hash that would let a player check a finished round.
Peru's register names Gaming Associates Europe as the test lab for this game. An app or paid channel selling Comet Crash predictions offers something none of the studio's material supports. Never give such a service your casino login.
Split The Pot and the Peru register
Split The Pot's footer names two companies: Split The Pot AB, with a Stockholm address, and Split The Pot (Pty) Ltd, with one in Gauteng. The studio's site describes its games as "engineered to be lightweight, conserving data usage".
Peru's gaming register, kept by the MINCETUR ministry, carries Split The Pot AB as supplier PSV0093 and gives Comet Crash a row of its own: game program PJ0003844, version 1.1, resolution 6171-2024 of 14 October 2024. On its own compliance page the studio says it is "Licensed by" the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator and the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board, among others, and holds a manufacturing licence in Gauteng; that page gives no licence numbers.

Does Auto Cashout pay the multiplier the comet reached?
It pays your target. The Help bases the payout, stake and profit, on the target cashout and not on the game result, so in its example a 5.12 target wins in a round that ends at 5.43 and is paid at 5.12.
Can Comet Crash pay 1,000,000x?
