How to Withdraw Your Winnings in South Africa
Almost every stuck withdrawal in this market comes down to one of three things, and all three are avoidable on the day you open the account rather than the day you want your money.

The three reasons withdrawals stall 💸
In order of how often we see them.
- FICA is not complete. The account was never verified, or a document was rejected and the email went unread. The operator cannot legally pay you until this is done.
- The payout account is not in your name. A partner's account, a parent's account, a business account. All refused, and refused for legal reasons that support cannot override.
- A bonus is still in play. If you accepted a bonus, its wagering requirement usually has to be met before funds become withdrawable. This is the one that surprises people who did not read the terms.

Verify on day one
ID and proof of address uploaded before you have any winnings to worry about. -
Capture your own bank details carefully
Account number, branch code and the account holder name exactly as the bank has it. -
Check whether a bonus is attached to your balance
Most operators show bonus funds separately from cash. If you cannot tell, ask support before requesting the withdrawal. -
Request the withdrawal and keep the reference
Then wait out two separate clocks: the operator's processing window, and the banking system's.
How long it actually takes
There are two stages and people usually only count one.
First the operator approves the payout. This is where verification checks happen, and it is the stage that takes days when something is wrong with the account. On a verified account with no bonus in play, it is usually quick.
Then the money moves through the banking system, which takes as long as any inter-bank transfer takes, and is entirely outside the operator's control.

Why is my withdrawal still pending?
Most often incomplete FICA verification, a payout account not in your own name, or an unmet bonus wagering requirement.
Can I withdraw to a voucher or a card?
Vouchers, no: they are not tied to a verified identity. Cards sometimes, but operators generally prefer bank transfer.
Can I cancel a withdrawal?
Many operators allow it while the request is pending, and that is a feature worth being wary of: cancelling to keep playing is how winnings stop being winnings.
Is there a minimum withdrawal?
Yes, and it varies by operator. We record it per operator in each review.
