Comet Crash Deluxe in South Africa: Split The Pot's Four-Bet Space Crash Game
Comet Crash Deluxe is the newer edition of Split The Pot's space crash game, with its own tile and its own demo next to the original Comet Crash. The multiplier rises as the comet streaks across, and a bet must be cashed out before the crash. Its Help allows up to four bets in one round, voids a round that malfunctions and refunds the stakes, and its footer shows a 97% RTP that the studio calls customizable.

What the Deluxe edition changes
Split The Pot treats Comet Crash Deluxe as a game in its own right: its games page shows it as a separate tile with a separate demo, beside the original Comet Crash. In the home page's words, you "watch the multiplier soar as the comet streaks across" and cash out before it crashes.
The onboarding keeps to the space story ("Spaceship is ready to launch!"), and the studio's tile shows a burning comet, flying saucers and an astronaut.
Set side by side, the two demos' Help texts differ in two rules: Deluxe allows four bets a round instead of two, and it voids a malfunctioning round instead of attempting a cash-out. The description, How to Play and footer match.
How a bet is settled
All players share one round with one result. How many people join, which targets they pick and what they stake "DO NOT affect" the game or the bet outcome, in the Help's own capitals.
A bet carries a target, which the Help calls "Cashout at" and the panel calls Auto Cashout. If the round reaches the target, the bet wins and is paid stake plus profit at the target, "not based on the game result". If the round ends below it, the stake is lost. The Help's worked example is a round ending at 5.43, where targets of 5.43 and 5.12 win while 5.44 and 10 lose: a hundredth short is still a loss.
Four bet panels on one screen
- Up to four bets. "The player can place up to four bets during one game. All of those bets are handled separately." The demo shows them in a two-by-two grid.
- Fewer or more panels. A link under the grid reads "Place fewer bets" and folds the screen down to two panels; the same link then reads "Place more bets" and brings all four back.
- Stake. Type an amount, or use minus, plus and the quick amount buttons the Help names.
- Auto Cashout and Auto. Each panel has an Auto Cashout button and an OFF/AUTO switch. Auto keeps entering every round until you choose Stop Auto, so set a time and money limit first.
- Statistics. Below the grid sit the tabs Bets, Multiplier, Big Wins and Your Session; the game menu adds Tutorial and Stats.
Four targets in one round: our arithmetic
Four R5 bets in one round, R20 in total, with Auto Cashout at 1.5x, 3x, 10x and 50x. Each winning bet is paid at its own target, stake included. All rand figures are our arithmetic from the Help's rules.
| Round ends at | Bets that win | Back from R20 |
|---|---|---|
| 1.20x | None | R0 |
| 2.40x | 1.5x pays R7.50 | R7.50 |
| 7.00x | 1.5x and 3x pay R7.50 and R15 | R22.50 |
| 25x | 1.5x, 3x and 10x, the 10x bet pays R50 | R72.50 |
| 120x | All four, the 50x bet pays R250 | R322.50 |
What four bets do and do not change
Four targets change how a session swings: in our table the same R20 comes back as nothing, R7.50, R22.50 or about sixteen times the outlay, depending only on where the round stops.
What the spread does to the long-run return, the Help leaves unsaid: its footer prints a single RTP figure and gives nothing per target, so each bet simply returns what its own exit pays. And with Auto on in all four panels, four stakes leave the balance every round.
If the game malfunctions
The Deluxe Help: "Game malfunction voids all pays and plays. The stakes placed will be refunded." The original Comet Crash instead attempts a cash-out at the multiplier reached before a lost connection.
So a malfunctioning round is cancelled rather than settled. The Help does not define a malfunction; for a disputed round, ask the casino's support.

- A target is paid at exactly the multiplier you set

- The 97% is the demo's figure; the studio sells an adjustable RTP

- The Help does not define a malfunction

Comet Crash Deluxe FAQ ❓
Is Comet Crash Deluxe the same game as Comet Crash?
No. Split The Pot lists them as two tiles with two demos. The Deluxe Help allows up to four bets a round, not two, and refunds the stakes when the game malfunctions instead of attempting a cash-out. Check the tile name before you play.
How many bets can I place in one round of Comet Crash Deluxe?
Up to four, and the Help says they are handled separately. Each panel has its own stake, Auto Cashout and Play button; "Place fewer bets" folds the screen down to two panels.
Is a winning bet paid at my target or where the comet crashed?
At your target. A winning payout is your stake plus the profit at the multiplier you chose, "not based on the game result", in the Help's words. So a R10 bet with a 3x target returns R30 even if the round runs on to 7x, by our arithmetic.
What happens to my bets if Comet Crash Deluxe malfunctions?
The Help says a game malfunction voids all pays and plays and that the stakes placed are refunded. It does not define a malfunction, so for a disputed round contact the casino's support with the time of the bet.
Can Comet Crash Deluxe pay 1,000,000x?
The Help says the multiplier may "possibly reach" x1.000.000, and the tile prints the same number. The studio's demo also caps a payout at 1,000,000 euros, which a 200-euro stake would reach at 5,000x by our arithmetic. Read the Help footer where you play.
