Betting Withdrawal Times: How Fast Bookmakers Say They Pay Out
After a winning bet the next question is how soon the money reaches your bank. The table below gives the payout time each bookmaker we review states, where we have one, next to its smallest withdrawal, and the text explains how to read a stated window against the wait you may actually have.

What a stated payout time is
A bookmaker's payout time is a promise written in its terms, help pages or FAQ: how long it says it takes to deal with a withdrawal request. It is the operator's own description of its process, not a measurement. Every time on this page is a stated window; none of them is a payout this site timed with its own money.
If a request runs longer, the written window is what you can point support to. A fast window says nothing about the odds or about whether a bet wins: it only describes what happens to money that is already yours to withdraw.
Stated withdrawal times by bookmaker 💸
The cells are read from the same fields as each brand's review, so they move together. The table lists every brand we review for which we have a payout time or a minimum withdrawal, so a few that run a casino without a sportsbook appear too. A dash means we have no figure for that column.

Each value is what the operator states on its own site or App Store listing, the same as in its review; "-" means we could not read it. We have not deposited or withdrawn with them. The order follows how we rate.
How to read the table
- Licensed in. The province or provinces whose boards license the brand; with more than two, the first and how many more. A brand licensed outside South Africa is marked as not South African, or as stating no licence; a payout dispute with such a brand does not reach a provincial board.
- Withdrawal time. The window the bookmaker states, in its own terms. Where it gives one time for the bookmaker's handling and another for the bank, or a different time per method, the cell keeps both, so read it to the end.
- Min withdrawal. The smallest payout the bookmaker says it will make. Several brands set it per method, and a balance under it stays in the account.
Processing time and bank time
Read each cell for what it is timing. Some bookmakers state only how quickly they handle a request; others add the time a bank transfer then needs to clear, or say outright that bank clearing comes on top. A window of a few hours for handling can still mean a longer wait before the money shows in your account.
Several cells also start the clock at a point inside the bookmaker's process: after a check, after the operator's review, or after it approves the request. The time before that point is not part of the stated window. Our how to withdraw guide walks through the steps from request to payment.
Hours, business days and weekends
Compare units before you compare numbers. "24 hours" and "1 business day" are not the same promise: a business day leaves out weekends and public holidays, so a request made on a Friday evening can wait until the next working day starts. Some brands say they process withdrawals on weekdays only, or at a set time of the morning, or during banking hours.
A range such as "1 to 3 days" gives the shortest and the longest wait the bookmaker expects, not the usual one. Where two of a bookmaker's pages give different times, a cell can name both; plan for the longer.
Your first withdrawal and FICA 🪪
The first payout from a new account is the one most likely to take longer than the stated window. South Africa's Financial Intelligence Centre Act lists a business that makes available a gambling activity for which a licence from the National Gambling Board or a provincial licensing authority is required as an accountable institution, and such an institution must establish and verify the identity of its clients. A licensed bookmaker therefore asks for documents, and at least one bookmaker we review gives a longer time for the first withdrawal while the account is verified.
Sending your documents soon after you register moves that wait to a day when you do not need the money. Our FICA verification guide lists the documents usually asked for. Some also state that the first payout may only go to a bank account in your own name, or that each deposit must be staked once before a withdrawal; where a bookmaker states such a rule, its review says so.
How the method changes the wait
A bookmaker can pay out through several routes, and the stated time can differ between them: a transfer to a bank account, a mobile cash send, an e-wallet or a voucher. The minimum withdrawal can differ by route as well. If the fastest time in a cell belongs to a route you do not use, it is not your time.
Our payment pages explain how each method works in rand and list the bookmakers we found taking it: bank EFT, Ozow, Capitec Pay, cards and vouchers. A method that a bookmaker takes for deposits is not always one it pays winnings to; the review of each brand says how it pays where the brand states it.
Where the figures come from
The values are the ones we have on record for each brand, the same as in its review. Where a bookmaker's own terms, help pages or FAQ were open to us, the figure comes from there; for some brands it comes from published reviews of the bookmaker, and for others the cell stays empty because the sources we could read disagreed. When a bookmaker changes its terms, its own page is the one that counts.
The table follows our ranking; a shorter stated window does not move a bookmaker up. For the smallest deposits, see low minimum deposit betting sites, and for cash out and live streaming the betting sites table.
Keep winnings as winnings
Treat a payout you have requested as money already taken home, not as a balance to bet again, and set a limit you can afford to lose before you deposit at all. Only adults 18 and over may bet. Withdrawal time FAQ
Which bookmaker pays out fastest?
The table shows the time each bookmaker states. Compare like with like: check whether a cell counts only the bookmaker's handling or the bank's clearing too, whether it is in hours or business days, and which payment route the fastest figure belongs to.
Is the stated payout time guaranteed?
It is the bookmaker's own description of its process, not a measured result. Verification, the payment route, weekends and public holidays can all make the wait longer. If a request runs past the stated window, the bookmaker's support is the place to ask.
Why does my first withdrawal take longer?
Licensed bookmakers must verify who their clients are under the Financial Intelligence Centre Act, and an account that is still being checked can hold up the first payout. Send your FICA documents early so the check is done before you need the money.
What is the difference between hours and business days?
Hours run every day; business days leave out weekends and public holidays. A window in business days can therefore be longer in calendar time, especially for a request made late in the week.
Is there a minimum withdrawal?
Most bookmakers we review state one, and the table shows it next to the payout time. It can depend on the method, so read the whole cell. A balance under the minimum stays in your account until it reaches it.
