Zodiac Wheel is a 5x3 EGT Digital slot on an astrology theme, played on five fixed lines. An old astronomer in a green cap tops the paytable, ahead of a fortune teller, a telescope, a brass sphere and four letters. The wild, a wheel of zodiac signs, lands on the middle three reels only. Five lines on a 5x3 grid
All five lines are always active, so one stake covers them. By the paytable's diagram, line 1 is the middle row, line 2 the top row and line 3 the bottom row; lines 4 and 5 are two V shapes, from the top row down to the bottom and back, and the reverse.
Lines pay left to right from reel 1, the highest win per line, and line wins add up. Line wins are multiplied by the line bet, which our division puts at one fifth of the stake.
Zodiac Wheel pays scaled to a R1 stake
The paytable in EGT Digital's free demo opened at a bet of 500.00 play money and lists its amounts for that bet. Divided by 500 (our arithmetic), a cell reads as rand won on a R1 spin, which is also how many times the stake it pays.

The zodiac wheel wild on the middle reels
The wild is a ring of zodiac signs around a sun, lettered WILD in red. The paytable puts it on reels 2, 3 and 4 only, substituting for all symbols on the same reel except the book and the map. It has no pay line of its own, and the rules say: "Winnings are paid after the expanding of the WILD symbol."
Every line win therefore needs a paying symbol on reel 1. EGT Digital's wild shot, at a EUR 0.50 bet, shows LINE 1 paying four kings, 3.00 EUR: by the paytable, four of a letter pay six times the stake, and 6 x 0.50 is 3.00 by our sum. The WIN field reads 6.00; by our count line 5, which starts on the bottom of reel 1 and the middle of reel 2, also holds two kings before the wild reels, a second four-king win.
A book and a map that pay off the lines
The book can land on every reel: three, four or five anywhere pay 3, 20 or 100 times the total bet. The map, a scroll with a quill and a sextant, appears anywhere on reels 1, 3 and 5 only, and the paytable lists one pay for it: three maps, 20 times the total bet.
The paytable gives neither scatter a free-spins trigger. EGT Digital's two scatter shots, both at a EUR 0.50 bet, show SCATTER PAY 10.00 EUR for four books and for three maps; 20 x 0.50 is 10.00 in each case, by our sum.
Clover Chance on Zodiac Wheel
EGT Digital lists Zodiac Wheel among its Clover Chance games and calls Clover Chance "a multi-level mystery jackpot with four progressive levels". Its four counters run above the reels: Grand in red, Major in green, Minor in blue and Mini in purple. A level is won only inside the Clover Chance feature, which starts randomly at the end of a game, after that game's wins are paid.
The feature is a pick from 15 chests. Twelve hold coloured pearls, each colour standing for a level; the other three hold level-up clovers in green, blue and purple. Three pearls of one colour settle the level, and a clover of the matching colour lifts it one step. The feature pays one level and ends; twelve pearls in four colours must hold three of one colour, so by our arithmetic it always does.
Taking a win to the card gamble
After a win, the x2 button opens the gamble: a face-down card, one of diamond, club, heart or spade, and a choice of RED or BLACK. Guess right and the amount doubles; miss and it is gone. You can collect at any point. The paytable sets the largest amount you may gamble and the number of tries (750.00 play money and five in the demo). A jackpot win cannot be gambled, the gamble is closed during autoplay, and no pattern of calls beats the house edge.
