How Mystic Fortune Deluxe works
All 28 lines play on every spin: Habanero's rules fix them at a cost of 28 coins, so the stake comes down to the coin size and the bet level. Line wins count from the leftmost reel, each line pays only its longest win, and wins on separate lines are added.
The top symbol, a gold coin stamped with the Chinese character for fortune, pays 1,888 line bets for five on a line, about 67 times the cost of the spin. The lion-dance head, the urn and the lantern follow, then the card symbols from A down to 10. Three Q, J or 10 return two line bets, one fourteenth of the spin.
The wild is the fairy from the title art, and the paytable gives it no pay of its own. The phoenix scatter pays anywhere, on top of the line wins. The lotus needs no line at all, and Habanero's description has it paying throughout the game, not only in the bonus.

- Nudging wild. Reels 1, 3 and 5 only. Substitutes for all symbols but the phoenix and nudges to cover its reel when it lands partly in view.
- Phoenix scatter. Pays anywhere, added to line wins: x1, x5 or x100 the total bet for three, four or five.
- Lotus money symbol. Pays its own value on landing. Sixteen possible values, from x2 to x8,888 the bet level.
- Scatter free games. Three, four or five scatters award 8, 28 or 288 free games, with all prizes multiplied by x2.
- Wild free games. The wild on reels 1, 3 and 5 in one spin awards 28 free games, with all prizes multiplied by x5.
- Retrigger and upgrade. The round can be retriggered, and a retrigger by the three wild reels lifts every remaining free game to x5.
- Same bet, no shortcut. Free games keep the lines and bet of the triggering spin, and there is no Buy Feature or SuperBet.
What a lotus is worth against your stake
Habanero's rules quote lotus prizes as multiples of the bet level, and the game's own help puts the total bet at 28 coins multiplied by the bet level, so an x28 lotus pays back exactly one total bet. In free games the round's x2 or x5 applies on top. The rand column is only an example, a R5.60 spin (28 coins of 20c at bet level 1); other stakes scale in proportion.

Scatters or wilds: what decides a Mystic Fortune Deluxe round
The two routes into the free games are not the same size. Three phoenixes, the smallest scatter trigger, give 8 free games at x2; the three wild reels give 28 at x5, three and a half times the games at two and a half times the multiplier. Four phoenixes match the wild's 28 games at x2, and five open 288 at x2 on top of a scatter pay of 100 times the total bet.
An x2 round can still become an x5 round: if the three wild reels land during scatter free games, the round is retriggered and every game that remains moves to x5. There is no combined start, though. The rules say the wild and the scatter cannot trigger on the same spin.
Habanero rates the volatility as medium, against very high for its Hot Hot Fruit, and lists the top multiplier at x4,733.
With the lines fixed and no buy or SuperBet option, the stake is the one choice that changes what a spin pays, and it is locked in before any trigger: free games play at the bet of the spin that started them. No stake size or strategy beats the house edge.
Mystic Fortune Deluxe or the original Mystic Fortune?
Habanero's catalogue still lists the older Mystic Fortune, dated 2014, as a separate game with its own page. That page gives five reels of three rows, 25 lines, RTP settings of 94% or 96%, the same medium volatility and a top multiplier of x1,947, with 15 free spins for scatters or 10 for wilds and a multiplier of x3.
Against it, the Deluxe has a fourth row, three more lines, the lotus money symbol, a scatter round of up to 288 games and a top multiplier of x4,733.
