Monopoly Roll 'em is a live dice game that Evolution launched in July 2026. A host presents it, two dice are rolled in two shakers, and the MONOPOLY top hat moves to the square that matches their total on a board of 12 squares. You bet on Low, 7, High or a single number before the roll, and houses built at random after betting closes can raise what a square pays. Evolution's rules give Low and High an RTP of 96.97%.

How a round of Monopoly Roll 'em works

The table is a MONOPOLY-style board of 12 squares, with a square for every total two dice can make, from 2 to 12. A game presenter hosts the round, and the dice are two regular ones, each in its own shaker. The game plays on desktop, tablet and smartphone.

A round has three phases. In the Betting Phase you place chips on one or more bet spots. In the Building Phase, which starts when betting time is over, MONOPOLY houses appear on randomly selected squares and raise their multipliers. In the Main Game the shakers produce the result, the dice are revealed one at a time, and the top hat moves round the board to the square of their total.

At the end of the round the top hat returns to its starting position and every multiplier goes back to its default value, so each round begins from the same board. Evolution's rules describe no bonus round: the dice total settles everything.

The bets you can place

Evolution's rules list two kinds of bet, and you can combine them in one round.

  • Low, 7 and High. Low covers the squares 2 to 6, High the squares 8 to 12, and 7 is a spot of its own. A winning Low or High bet is paid by the multiplier shown on the square where the top hat stops.
  • Number side bets. A side bet backs one total: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12. It is paid by the multiplier on its own spot of the betting grid, not by the one on the board.
  • Both on the same total. In Evolution's own example, a Low bet and a side bet on 3 both win when the square is 3; each is paid at its own multiplier and the two payouts are added together.

What the Building Phase changes

Houses are what move the payouts. "The more houses built on a square, the higher its payout", in the words of the rules, and Evolution's launch note adds that more houses on one square stack its multipliers. Its game page and the note both put the top of that range at 300x; that is Evolution's figure for a raised multiplier, not a cap on what a round can pay.

A raised square also raises the side bet on its number: when the base multiplier of a numbered square goes up, the payout for that number on the betting grid goes up as well. The board's multipliers apply to Low, 7 and High, the grid's to the side bets.

The houses appear only after betting has closed, so you never see a raised square first and then back it.

What Low and High pay on each square

Evolution's payout table gives each square of Low and High a range of odds. We read X:1 the usual way, a win of X times the stake, and the rules add that "your initial bet is included in your winnings", so the stake comes back with it. The chance of each total is our arithmetic, out of the 36 ways two dice can land.

SquarePaysChance of the total
2 or 12 2.5:1 to 9:1 1 in 36 each
3 or 11 2:1 to 5:1 2 in 36 each
4 or 10 1.5:1 to 4:1 3 in 36 each
5 or 9 1:1 to 3:1 4 in 36 each
6 or 8 0.5:1 to 2:1 5 in 36 each
7 Shown on the game's Payouts page 6 in 36

Reading the payout table

The squares nearest 7 are the easiest to hit and pay the least: a Low bet that lands on 6 pays 0.5:1 at the bottom of its range, one that lands on 2 pays 2.5:1. Low and High each cover 15 of the 36 dice outcomes, about 41.7%, and 7 covers 6, about 16.7% (our arithmetic).

If every square paid the lowest figure of its range, a R10 Low bet would come back as about R9.03 on average, by our arithmetic: 1 x R35 + 2 x R30 + 3 x R25 + 4 x R20 + 5 x R15, divided by 36. Evolution's RTP for Low is 96.97%, about R9.70 of R10, so the published return sits above what the lowest figures alone would give.

Evolution's rules text gives no fixed figure for 7 and the number bets; the game's own Payouts page shows what they pay at your table. A fair price, with no house edge at all, would be 35:1 for 2 or 12, 17:1 for 3 or 11, 11:1 for 4 or 10, 8:1 for 5 or 9, 6.2:1 for 6 or 8 and 5:1 for 7 (our arithmetic).

The scoreboards and what they cannot tell you 📐

The game records recent rounds in a Bead Road and a Big Road, coloured blue for Low, green for 7 and red for High, with a gold outline on results affected by an increased multiplier. A statistics panel shows how Low, 7 and High shared the recent rounds, plus hot and cold numbers.

Evolution's own help adds that hot and cold numbers "do not provide any predictive indication of future outcomes". Dice have no memory: a 7 is 6 in 36 on every roll, whatever the last ten showed. No staking pattern beats the house edge.

  • Low, 7 and High keep it simple; the number bets add variety

  • The rules text prints no fixed payout for 7 and the number bets
  • Its rules describe no bonus round, unlike Monopoly Live and Monopoly Big Baller

Monopoly Roll 'em FAQ ❓

What is the RTP of Monopoly Roll 'em?

Evolution's rules give 96.97% for Low and High and 95.95% to 96.03% for the bets on specific numbers, 7 included: 95.95% for 7, 96.03% for 2 or 12, 95.97% for 3 or 11, 96.00% for 4, 5, 9 or 10, and 96.02% for 6 or 8.

How do the houses change the payouts?

After betting closes, houses appear on random squares and raise their multipliers, more houses meaning a higher one; Evolution puts the top at 300x. A raised square raises the side bet on its number too, and every multiplier resets at the end of the round.

Is Monopoly Roll 'em the same as Monopoly Live?

No. In Monopoly Live a host spins a wheel of 54 segments, and landing on 2 Rolls or 4 Rolls sends Mr. Monopoly round a 3D board. Monopoly Roll 'em is two dice and a 12-square board, and its rules describe no bonus round: the dice total settles every bet.

Can the scoreboards help me predict the next total?

No. Each roll of two dice is independent, so a 7 stays 6 in 36 however often it came up lately. Evolution's help itself says the hot and cold numbers do not provide any predictive indication of future outcomes.

Who makes Monopoly Roll 'em, and is the brand licensed?

Evolution, which announced the launch on 15 July 2026 as part of its exclusive partnership with Hasbro. Its game page states that the MONOPOLY name, board design and playing pieces are Hasbro's trademarks, used with permission: "Licensed by Hasbro."
