Crazy Pachinko in South Africa: Sliding Scatters, a Top Up and a Live Pachinko Wall
Crazy Pachinko is Evolution's mix of reels and a live game show, launched in 2023. You spin five reels until three Scatter symbols land in the same spin, and each Scatter lingers for a few spins as it slides down the reels. Qualified players can pay for Top Up spins that add multipliers, then a game host drops a puck down a giant Pachinko wall of 10x to 200x multipliers. Evolution's rules give an RTP of 95.01% to 96.05%, depending on the bet.
Figures from provider data, September 2026. The RTP depends on the bet you pick or when you cash out, so check the ranking and the game's own info screen before you deposit.

From the reels to the Pachinko wall
Evolution's rules split Crazy Pachinko into three phases: Qualification on a five-reel machine, an optional Top Up, and the Pachinko Bonus round, which is streamed live with a game host. Only the last part is a show; the first two you play on your own screen.
The bet you choose in Normal mode is your base bet. Every payout, the bonus round included, is worked out on it.
Crazy Pachinko bets: what each one costs and returns
Prices and effects from Evolution's rules, RTP from the game's help. Payouts are always worked out on the base bet.
| Bet | Price | What it does | RTP |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal Spin | The base bet | One Qualification spin; this bet becomes your base bet | 96.04% |
| XXXtreme Spin | 15 x the base bet | One Scatter in every spin and a higher chance of Scatter multipliers | 96.05% |
| Feature Buy | 75 x the base bet | Three Scatters and qualification at once; may add random multipliers | 96.04% |
| Top Up | The base bet or more | Multipliers in 16 sectors for the bonus round | 95.01% |
Qualification: Scatters that slide down
The Qualification reels are five wide and three high, with 10 fixed winlines, one Scatter and seven paying symbols: J, Q, K, A, Cherry, Bell and Wild. You qualify when three Scatters are on the reels in the same spin.
A Scatter does not vanish after the spin it lands on. If it lands on the top row, the next spin nudges it to the middle row, then to the bottom row, and on the spin after that it disappears, so one Scatter can count in up to three spins. Evolution's game page calls them Sticky Scatters.
A Scatter may carry a multiplier of up to 10x, or none. Once you qualify, all your Scatter multipliers are added into one Scatter multiplier for the bonus round. Winlines in the meantime are paid at once, unless the same spin qualifies you: then their payout comes after the Pachinko round.
Change your bet while collecting, and your Scatters are saved with the old bet and the count restarts; they return with that bet for up to 90 days.
Qualification reels: the pay table
What a winline of three, four or five matching symbols pays, as a multiple of your base bet, the best-paying symbol first. Wins on different lines add up.
| Paying symbol | Three | Four | Five |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1st, highest pay | 5x | 10x | 20x |
| 2nd, same pays as the 1st | 5x | 10x | 20x |
| 3rd | 2x | 6x | 12x |
| 4th | 0.6x | 1.5x | 3x |
| 5th | 0.5x | 1.3x | 2.5x |
| 6th | 0.4x | 1x | 2x |
| 7th, lowest pay | 0.3x | 0.7x | 1.5x |
The Top Up: 16 squares over 16 sectors
After you qualify, and while you wait for the next live round, you can spin the Top Up for an extra cost. It is a grid of 16 squares, each one a reel that spins on its own, above 16 sectors that collect multipliers. A multiplier moves down into the sector below its reel and may stack there at random.
The cheapest Top Up spin costs your base bet. A bigger Top Up bet brings bigger multiplier values, which range from 2x to 10,000x. The game will not take a Top Up bet that could push you past its maximum payout.
When the Top Up time runs out, you move to the bonus round. If you qualify about 10 seconds before a round begins, a pop-up asks whether to join it (BONUS) or stay in the Top Up for the next one (TOP UP); with no choice, you join.
The live Pachinko round and your payout
The bottom of the wall holds 16 random multipliers, and the puck is dropped from a random zone between 4 and 13 at the top. These Pachinko multipliers run from 10x to 200x and are the same for all players.
Your own final multiplier in each zone is the Pachinko multiplier times your Scatter multiplier, plus your Top Up multipliers, shown on each zone separately. The host drops the puck, and the zone it lands in pays its final multiplier times your base bet.
Evolution's example: a Scatter multiplier of 8x and a Pachinko multiplier of 15x make 120x; a 4x Top Up makes 124x; on a base bet of 2, the payout is 248. On a R2 base bet that is R248, our reading of the same sum in rand.
A landing on DOUBLE is a Double Event: the Pachinko multipliers double, the final multipliers are worked out again, and the puck drops once more. It can happen only once a round. The Top Up part is added after the doubling, not doubled: if the 15x in Evolution's example became 30x, the zone would read 8 x 30 + 4 = 244x, not 2 x 124 = 248x (our arithmetic from the rules' formula).
Crazy Pachinko and the Pachinko bonus of Crazy Time 🎁
Crazy Time has a bonus game called Pachinko too, reached by a wheel segment, with rules of its own. Here the wall, with 10x to 200x and at most one Double Event a round, is the goal of the whole game, reached through the reels.
Evolution's timeline lists "Crazy Pachinko launches" under 2023. The same three-phase design, with a coin instead of a wall, is Crazy Coin Flip.
Crazy Pachinko RTP and volatility 📊
Evolution gives Crazy Pachinko's return to player as 95.01% - 96.05% depending on the bet.

Pros, cons and verdict ⚖️
- A Scatter keeps counting for up to three spins as it slides down
- Every bet has its own RTP, from 95.01% to 96.05%
- The payout formula and an example are in the rules
- The Top Up returns 95.01%, the lowest of the four bets
- XXXtreme spins and Feature Buy cost 15 and 75 times the base bet
- Near the table's payout limit some Top Up bets are not offered
Crazy Pachinko turns qualifying into a slot session and saves the live part for one puck drop. The paid shortcuts change how fast you reach the wall, and the return only from 96.04% to 96.05%; the Top Up returns least. Fix your base bet and a spin budget first: no staking pattern or system beats the house edge.
Crazy Pachinko FAQ ❓
What is the RTP of Crazy Pachinko?
Evolution's help gives each bet its own figure: 96.04% for a Normal spin, 96.05% for an XXXtreme spin, 96.04% for Feature Buy and 95.01% for the Top Up. It names 96.05% as the optimal return.
How do I qualify for the live Pachinko round?
Have three Scatter symbols on the Qualification reels in one spin. A Scatter slides down a row each spin before it disappears. XXXtreme Spin brings one Scatter in every spin for 15 times the base bet, and Feature Buy qualifies you at once for 75 times.
How is the Pachinko payout worked out?
Pachinko multiplier times your Scatter multiplier, plus your Top Up multipliers, times your base bet; the game shows the result on each zone. Evolution's example: 8 x 15 = 120, plus 4 makes 124x, and on a base bet of 2 the payout is 248.
What is the biggest win in Crazy Pachinko?
Evolution names no single figure for the game. Its rules give Scatter multipliers up to 10x, Top Up multipliers from 2x to 10,000x and Pachinko multipliers from 10x to 200x, and set a payout cap that limits the Top Up bets you can place.
Is Crazy Pachinko the same as the Pachinko bonus in Crazy Time?
No. That Pachinko is one of four bonus games inside Crazy Time, reached from a wheel segment. Crazy Pachinko is a separate Evolution game: you qualify on reels, and its wall carries 10x to 200x multipliers.
