Cash Flip Medusa in South Africa: Three Orbs, a Flipping Coin and a Mega Jackpot
Cash Flip Medusa is a Greek-temple slot from Snowborn Games, released through Games Global on 9 October 2024. It runs on five reels, three rows and 20 lines, and Snowborn gives it an RTP of 96% and medium volatility. Coloured orbs switch on three cash features, Cash Flip, Cash Multiplier and Cash Collect, and those features shape a bonus round in which jackpot coins land and a full grid pays the Mega jackpot.

How Cash Flip Medusa is laid out
The base game is a plain grid: Games Global's news calls it a 5x3 slot, and Snowborn Games lists 20 lines on its own page for the game. Above the reels stands a temple with three unlit gold Medusa heads in its frieze, labelled Multiplier, Cash Flip and Collector, and over the temple four jackpot plaques: Mega, Major, Minor and Mini.
By our reading of Snowborn's screenshots and Games Global's promo video, the symbols are coloured gems, the card letters, a coiled snake and a WILD; in one of Snowborn's shots the WILD fills the first and the last reel. The studio publishes no paytable on its page, so this one gives none.
The video and the screenshots show every amount without a currency sign, on a bet of 2.00; none of them is in rand.
Three orbs and the Medusa Bonus
The orbs are the point of the base game. Games Global's launch news says purple orbs activate the Cash Multiplier, blue orbs the Cash Collect and red orbs the Cash Flip. In the video an orb that lands lights the Medusa of its colour in the frieze, and the caption reads: Bonus triggers with any combination of 1, 2 or 3 cash features, or randomly with Medusa Magic.
Games Global says the features can combine into up to seven different combinations; three on their own, three pairs and all three together make seven by our count. Medusa Magic is the random part: Snowborn says it can surprise you anytime with bonus games or random wins.
The gold Medusa goes further. Games Global writes that it triggers the Golden Medusa, which reactivates all previously unlocked features, and Snowborn puts it as landing enough orbs to activate all three at once. Neither page says how many orbs that takes.
What each Medusa does in the bonus
The third column gives Snowborn Games' own words from its game page; the last column is what Games Global's promo video shows on a bet of 2.00, in our reading and with our sums.
| Orb | Feature | Snowborn's rule | Seen in the video |
|---|---|---|---|
| Red | Cash Flip | The Red Bonus symbol flips a random amount of times, increasing its value step by step with each flip | The red orb climbs from 4.00 to 34.00 and a 34.00 coin stands in the grid |
| Purple | Cash Multiplier | 1-3 other prizes on the screen will be selected and multiplied by 2x, 3x or 5x | The purple Medusa shows 3x, then 5x, and that 34.00 coin becomes 170.00, 34 x 5 by our sum |
| Blue | Cash Collect | All current coin wins are collected and added to the feature collector | The collector shows 180.00, the sum of the five coins then on the grid by our count |
| Gold | Golden Bonus | Land enough orbs to trigger the Golden Bonus and activate all three at once | A gold coin in the grid sets all three off; the red orb flips again, through 200.00 and 400.00 to 600.00 |
Three spins, fifteen spots and the Mega jackpot
The bonus is a hold-style round on the same 5x3 grid. Games Global's news says players get three spins, which reset each time a cash symbol or modifier lands, and the round runs until no spins remain or the whole grid is filled with cash prizes. In the video a panel counts the filled spots, from 0 / 15 FOR MEGA upwards.
Coins carry cash values, and some carry the name of a jackpot: in the video and in Snowborn's third screenshot, MINI, MAJOR and MINOR coins stand in the grid, one of them marked 2x. On a bet of 2.00 the plaques read 10,000.00 for Mega, 600.00 for Major, 60.00 for Minor and 20.00 for Mini, which by our division is 5,000x, 300x, 30x and 10x the bet; the video shows no other bet.
Fill all fifteen spots and the Mega pays: the video's caption reads Fill all reels to win the 5000x Mega jackpot, and the screen then shows MEGA 10,000.00.
What the studios say about the top prize
Snowborn Games says the Mega jackpot is worth 5000x your bet, and Games Global's news speaks of the chance to win up to 5,000x. Snowborn's third screenshot and the end of the video both show a finished bonus with TOTAL WIN 12,344.40 on a bet of 2.00, but these are promotional pictures, and neither studio explains how that total is made up or publishes a rules screen with a maximum win.
A full grid in a promotional picture says nothing about how often one comes. No staking pattern beats the house edge, so treat the bonus as entertainment with a budget, not as a target.
