How Fish Trio works
Fish Trio has five reels of three symbols and 30 fixed paylines. A win needs the same symbol on consecutive reels of a payline from the leftmost reel; only the best combination on a line pays, and lines add up.
In our reading of the paytable pictures, the line symbols are a lighthouse, an anchor, a conch shell, an amphora wrapped in seaweed, a starfish and the letters A, K, Q and J. The wild is a treasure chest with the word WILD on it; it replaces every symbol except BONUS and the coins.

The fish tanks and the two ways in
Above the reels sit three fish bowls, BOOST, MULTIPLY and COLLECT, with a blue, a red and a green fish. In the main game a coloured coin can make its fish grow and start the Underwater Respins at random; after the feature that fish shrinks back.
The second way in is fixed: three or more BONUS symbols anywhere on the reels always start the feature. Three unlock one coloured row at random, four unlock two and five unlock all three.
The Underwater Respins feature
Three locked coloured rows appear on top of the reels, and the triggering colour's row opens first. Only coloured coins land in those rows, each in its own colour. The main reels take cash coins, Mystery Prize Coins and coloured coins of any colour; a coloured coin there unlocks its row if it was still closed.
The feature begins with three respins. Every respin that adds at least one coin to the main reels locks it and sets the counter back to three. It ends when the counter reaches zero or the main grid is full, and every prize in view is then paid. Cash coins carry 0.5x to 4x the total bet, and a Mystery Prize Coin turns into a MINI, MINOR or MAJOR prize picked at random.

Each acts on the coins directly beneath it, by the game's help.

When a coloured coin has nothing to work on
By the help, a coloured coin with no coin beneath it locks in its row until a cash coin or a Mystery Prize Coin lands below, then uses its ability and spins off.

Extra Bet and Buy Feature
Extra Bet raises the total bet by 20% to improve the chance of starting the Underwater Respins, and the help says the payouts stay the same. On the main screen the panel reads EXTRA CHANCE, with a €6.00 bet beside a €5.00 total bet.
Buy Feature starts the respins with one, two or three colours active, at 36, 60 or 86 times the base bet. By our arithmetic that is R72, R120 or R172 on a R2 base bet. Two of the six builds have no Buy Feature.
