How the base game works
Booming Games describes Buffalo Hold and Win Extreme as a 5x3, 25-payline slot in the description of the video it published for the game on its YouTube channel. The lines are fixed. A line pays for matching symbols in an unbroken run from left to right, only its highest win counts, and wins on several lines are added together.
The game's own symbol files show the letters J, Q, K and A, four animal portraits (a wolf, a mountain lion, an eagle and a buffalo), a WILD plaque and gold coins, some lettered MINI or MAJOR. The wild stands in for everything except the coins, which the rules call value symbols. Coins carry values, which the rules pay out through the wheel's All Coins prize and at the end of Hold and Win Extreme.
The Buffalo Bonus wheel 🎁
When coins land in the base game, the rules say there is a chance of the Buffalo Bonus. The look of the logo, they add, is "only an aesthetic representation" and does not raise that chance. A trigger gives one spin of the Wheel of Fortune, with the four prizes below; the rules publish no odds for its segments. The rand figures are our arithmetic at R1 a spin.

The round always starts with 3 spins, and every new coin resets the count to 3. Only coins appear on the reels, and each stays where it lands. -
Up to four grids
The round can play on up to four 3x5 grids and starts with one open. A total of 9 coins opens the second grid, 18 the third and 27 the fourth. -
Coin values
1x to 8x, 10x, 12x, 15x or 20x the bet, or 25x as a Mini Bonus and 100x as a Major Bonus. A grid can hold at most one Mini and one Major. -
A full grid doubles
When all 15 places on a grid hold coins, every value on that grid is doubled, the Mini and the Major included. -
The payout
When the spins run out or all 60 coins have landed, the values on show are paid. All 60 also add a Grand Bonus of 1000x the bet.
What the grids add up to
The thresholds count coins across the whole round, not per grid, so the second grid can open at 9 while the first, with 15 places, still has gaps. The Grand needs all 60 places, which also means four full grids: by our reading of the two rules together, every coin is doubled and the 1000x comes on top.
An example: a full grid holding a Major, a Mini and thirteen 2x coins is 100 + 25 + 26 = 151x, doubled to 302x, or R302 at R1 a spin (our arithmetic). The paytable's own picture of four full grids shows only even values, from 2x to 40x, with its Mini and Major coins marked x2.
The 1000x Grand is a fixed prize, not the game's maximum win: the rules set a separate win cap, and reaching it ends any active feature.
Buy Bonus: 100x the bet 🎁
The rules price the Bonus at 100x your bet, and once it is bought, they say, the Bonus feature will trigger: R100 at R1 a spin, R500 at R5 (our arithmetic).
That is a hundred spins' worth of stake on a single round. The terms at the end of the rules can show a return-to-player line for the purchase next to the one for the game, so compare the two first. No staking pattern or system beats the house edge, and a bought feature is still a bet.
