The board and how a line pays
The paytable's picture of Flaming Respins shows five reels of five rows filled with classic machine symbols: cherries, a lemon, a plum, grapes, a watermelon, a four-leaf clover, a bell, a red 7 and a gold BAR plaque. The rules fix the number of paylines, so you cannot switch any off.
A line pays for identical symbols in an unbroken run from the left. On each line only the highest win is paid, and only the longest matching combination per symbol counts. Wins on several lines in one spin are added together. Wilds may appear on any reel and replace all the other symbols, with one exception: the coins, called value symbols in the rules.
Flaming Respins in the base game
The rules describe Flaming Respins as a base-game feature only.
- The trigger. It can start on any winning spin in the base game. The winning symbol is locked and a respin is awarded.
- More of the same. During the respins more symbols of the same type can land, and every new one brings another respin. The feature ends when no new symbols land.
- Multiplier symbols. Multipliers of x2, x3, x4 and x5 can land. They do not lock, but each awards an extra respin and is added to the total win multiplier, which multiplies the final win. More than one can land in the same feature.
- The count. At the end all paylines are calculated and paid. Wilds are excluded from the feature.
The Collection Pot
Every coin that lands in the base game is collected into the Collection Pot, and the pot may start Coin Blitz Hold & Win at any time. The rules add that how many coins have piled up in the pot, and how it looks, has no effect on that chance.
The other route in is the plain one: five or more coins on the reels start the round. The Coin Blitz rules add a line in the same spirit about the game's logo: its look is only decoration and does not raise the chance of the feature.
Coin Blitz Hold & Win, step by step
The rules lay the round out as follows.
-
Three spins, reset by each new coin
Coin Blitz opens on a 5x5 grid with 3 spins. Any coin that lands puts the counter back to 3. -
Coin values
1x to 10x the bet in steps of one, or 20x (Mini), 50x (Minor), 100x (Major) or 1000x (Mega). -
The Coin Blitz symbol
When it lands it awards either Boost or Grid Expand, resets the spins to 3 and is removed on the next spin. Up to two can be in view at once. -
Boost
Two or more coins on the grid are multiplied by x2, x3, x4 or x5. -
Grid Expand
The grid grows to the next size and gets two or more extra coins. It can grow to 6x6, 7x7 and 8x8. -
The payout
When no spins are left, or every cell is filled with coins, the sum of all visible values is paid.
What the coins add up to
By our count the grid has 25 places at the start, then 36, 49 and 64 on the 8x8 grid, the number in the game's name. A full grid ends the round at once, so each Grid Expand also gives the round more room before that happens.
The paytable's picture of the round holds ten coins: a Minor, a Mega and 1x, 1x, 2x, 2x, 5x, 9x, 10x and 10x. Paid as they stand, that is 50 + 1000 + 40 = 1,090x the bet, or R1,090 at R1 a spin (our arithmetic), and 1,000x of that is the one Mega coin.
A Boost works on coins already on the grid. If it turns a 10x coin into 30x with a x3, that coin alone is R30 at R1 a spin, again our sum. The 1000x Mega is not the top payout either: it is the largest coin, while the Win Cap section names a limit in multiples of the base bet; a total that hits it stops whatever feature is running.
Buy Bonus: 80x the bet 🎁
Where the casino offers the purchase, a Buy Bonus section appears in the rules: the Bonus costs 80x your bet, and a bought Bonus always triggers. At R1 a spin that is R80, at R5 it is R400 (our arithmetic). Eighty base bets go on one round whose result is still random. The terms can give the purchase its own return beside the game's, so compare them before buying. No staking pattern or system beats the house edge.
Check the name: there is also a 20,000 edition
Booming Games' catalogue lists 64 Gold Coins Hold and Win and, as a separate game, 64 Gold Coins Hold and Win 20,000. Everything here comes from the plain title's own rules; nothing is borrowed from the 20,000. Booming's buffalo series, reviewed on Buffalo Hold and Win Extreme, uses a different round: fixed grids that unlock, a wheel and a Grand prize, none of which this game has.

64 Gold Coins Hold and Win puts three features on a plain fruit-machine board: respins that lock a winning symbol, a pot that can start the bonus at random, and a coin round whose grid grows from 5x5 to 8x8 with Boost and Grid Expand. The return and the win cap are only in the rules your casino shows, so open them first, then decide your stake and how much you are ready to lose.
64 Gold Coins Hold and Win FAQ ❓
Why is it called 64 Gold Coins?
By our reading of the rules: the coin round starts on a 5x5 grid and the Grid Expand feature can grow it to 6x6, 7x7 and 8x8, and an 8x8 grid has 64 places. Booming Games does not explain the name on its own site.
Does a full Collection Pot mean the bonus is close?
No. The rules say the number of coins collected in the pot and its appearance have no effect on the chance of triggering Coin Blitz Hold & Win. The pot may start the round at any time, whatever it looks like.
What is the most 64 Gold Coins Hold and Win can pay?
The Win Cap section of the rules gives a limit as a multiple of the base bet; a total that reaches it ends the running feature and pays the limit. The figure appears in the game at your casino. The 1000x Mega is only the highest coin value.
Where do I find the RTP?
Open the game's rules at your casino and scroll to Terms and conditions: where the casino shows it, the return to player is printed there, and the terms can carry a second line for the Buy Bonus. Booming Games publishes no figure for this game on its own site.
Is it the same game as 64 Gold Coins Hold and Win 20,000?
No. The studio's catalogue carries 64 Gold Coins Hold and Win 20,000 as an entry of its own, next to this game. Everything on this page describes the title with no number after it, so check the full name on the casino's tile before you play.
