How Vault Cracker plays
Vault Cracker has five reels of three symbols each and 10 play lines, by Red Tiger's page. Evolution's games site describes the low-paying symbols as the card values 10, J, Q, K and A, and the high-paying ones as a toy gun with a flag, a piggy bank, a necklace with a diamond pendant and a bag of loot.
The game's own help lists six special symbols and features, all about the safes, the two characters who open them and the Heist. Three kinds of safe are non-paying scatters that can land anywhere on the reels. The Hold-Up Artist is a scatter that can only land on the last reel, the Heist Master a 1x2 super symbol that can only land on the middle reel. Evolution's page calls the Heist the game's Bonus Game 'instead of the common Free Spins', and no feature buy appears among the figures on Red Tiger's page.
Steel, bronze and gold: what a safe can hold
Each safe holds a random cash prize, awarded when the Hold-Up Artist or the Heist Master unlocks it. The ranges are the help's; Red Tiger's page gives only the top of each. The last column is our arithmetic at two example stakes.

Two characters, two ways to open the safes
The ranges do not overlap, so a safe's type sets its band before it opens: by the help's figures, gold holds at least 20 times the stake and steel at most five.
The Hold-Up Artist is the short route. Landing on the last reel along with visible safes, he opens them all and each prize is awarded.
The Heist Master takes the long route: he starts the Heist, which pays out its safes and, when every possible position holds one, adds the Diamond's multiplier.

All safe symbols on the screen lock in place and one respin is awarded, in which only safe symbols spin. -
Each new safe earns a respin
If a new safe lands, another respin is awarded. -

When no new safe lands, the locked safes open and pay, and the Second Chance Wheel spins. -
Green keeps the Heist going
If the wheel lands on green, the Heist continues. Each activation adds a police officer and turns one more quarter of the wheel red; a fourth activation ends the Heist at once. -
A full set of safes unlocks the Diamond
If all possible positions hold a safe, every unopened safe opens and pays, and the Diamond multiplies the total Heist win by 2x to 10x. A Heist total of 60 times the stake would become 120x to 600x, by our arithmetic.
The Second Chance Wheel, one activation at a time
By the help, each activation adds a red quarter and a police officer; Evolution's games site adds that on the first spin three quarters of the wheel are green and one quarter is red. The help does not give the chance of green on any spin.
