Great Pyramid Tap-A-Roo is an instant game from Tap-A-Roo, a studio of the Evolution Group, released on 1 September 2025. There are no reels: every tap is a bet, and on any bet a Scarab Vase may break and send scarabs to between one and ten of fourteen Cash Prizes, sometimes with a multiplier. Filling the Pyramid Bonus sector opens a Plinko round of 20 balls on a 14-row pyramid.

4.8/5. Computed from what we could verify about Great Pyramid Tap-A-Roo, not from our own play.

A tap instead of a spin

Tap-A-Roo's page describes a scene, not a grid of symbols: 'A total of 14 Cash Prizes and 1 Pyramid Bonus sector are placed in the game scene.' 'The Cash Prizes represent a bet Multiplier of the current bet', so a 10x sector is worth ten stakes.

'On every bet the Scarab Vase may break and release scarabs that will fly towards between 1 and 10 random prize sectors in order to award them.' The rules say 'may', so they do not promise a break on every tap.

The page lists the fourteen possible prizes: 0.3x, 0.5x, 0.7x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 2.5x, 3x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 25x, 50x and 100x. Three of them are below 1x: without a multiplier, such a prize is worth less than the stake. The page lists the prizes but not whether each sector keeps the same one every time.

The fourteen Cash Prizes at a R2 bet

Values are Tap-A-Roo's; rand amounts and the x7 column are our arithmetic.

Cash PrizeAt R2With a x7 multiplier
0.3x R0.60 R4.20
0.5x R1.00 R7.00
0.7x R1.40 R9.80

1.5x R3.00 R21.00
2x R4.00 R28.00
2.5x R5.00 R35.00
3x R6.00 R42.00
5x R10.00 R70.00
10x R20.00 R140.00

50x R100.00 R700.00

The Prize Multiplier

'Randomly, when the Scarab Vase breaks, a Multiplier may appear from it in addition to the scarabs. The Multiplier applies to each Cash Prize awarded by the scarabs.' The possible values are x2, x3, x5 and x7.

A 100x prize under x7 is 700x, R1,400 at a R2 bet, by our arithmetic. The page gives no chance for a break, a multiplier or any one value.

Cracks and sand that are only scenery

Two things look like meters, and the rules say they are not. On the vase: 'The accumulation of cracks on the vase is purely for visual entertainment and does not have any influence on when the vase will break.' On the bonus sector: it 'does not represent a progress', and the sand in it 'does not have any influence on the triggering of the bonus round, which happens at random.'

A badly cracked vase is not about to break, and a nearly full sector is not close to the bonus. Raising the bet when they look close follows decoration. No staking pattern beats the house edge.

The Plinko Pyramid Bonus 🎁

On any bet Magical Sand may fly from the vase into the Pyramid Bonus sector, 'filling it up to a random level'. When the sector is full, the bonus starts: '20 free rounds in a Plinko game. The player receives 20 balls to drop into a Plinko Pyramid.' You drop each ball yourself by tapping the play button; it falls from the top and bounces off the pins.

'The Pyramid has 14 rows and 15 prizes at the bottom.' Each ball adds its sector's prize to a running total, and the total is paid at the end of the bonus. The page names no cash value for the two Refill Balls sectors; each awards 'a retrigger of 10 balls'.

The cheapest landing is the centre, 0.5x, so 20 balls return at least 10x the bet, by our arithmetic. The page gives no chance for any sector.

The pyramid's base, left to right

The order is Tap-A-Roo's; the board is symmetrical, so each row stands for two positions except the centre. Rand amounts per ball at a R2 bet are our arithmetic.

Positions from the leftPrizePer ball at R2
1 and 15 500x R1,000
2 and 14 100x R200
3 and 13 Refill Balls 10 more balls
4 and 12 25x R50
5 and 11 5x R10
6 and 10 1x R2
7 and 9 0.7x R1.40
8, the centre 0.5x R1

Bonus Buy: 6x and 60x

The page lists two purchases. For 6x the bet, Prize Multiplier cracks the vase and awards a prize Multiplier on that bet, by the page's terms. For 60x the bet, Plinko Pyramid Bonus activates 'all bonus prize sectors in the round' and goes straight to the Plinko round.

At a R2 bet that is R12 and R120, by our arithmetic. Against the 60x price, the 10x floor of a 20-ball round is small comfort: a bought bonus can return far less than it cost. The page gives no separate RTP for either purchase.

What Tap-A-Roo publishes

Tap-A-Roo's page gives an RTP of 96.94% and a Max payout of '1 190 x bet', R2,380 at a R2 bet by our sum. That is the studio's figure: the rules on the page name no win limit, and three Plinko balls on a 500x edge would already add up to 1,500x by our arithmetic, and the page does not say how the figure relates to the rules. The page shows no volatility and no hit frequency.

The release date is 1 September 2025 and the bet range €0.10 to €400.00, in euro; the rand range is in each casino's lobby. The footer names Evolution Gaming Malta Limited and its Malta Gaming Authority licence MGA/CRP/187/2010. Our RTP and volatility guide explains what an RTP says about a session.

Great Pyramid Tap-A-Roo FAQ ❓

Who makes Great Pyramid Tap-A-Roo?

Tap-A-Roo, a studio of the Evolution Group with its own site, tap-a-roo.com. Its footer names Evolution Gaming Malta Limited, licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority under MGA/CRP/187/2010. Some South African lobbies list the game under Evolution instead.

How does the Scarab Vase work?

On every bet the vase may break and send scarabs to between 1 and 10 of the 14 Cash Prizes, which run from 0.3x to 100x the bet. Sometimes a x2, x3, x5 or x7 multiplier comes out with them and applies to each prize awarded.

Does a cracked vase mean it is about to break?

No. The studio's rules say the cracks are purely for visual entertainment and have no influence on when the vase breaks. The sand in the Pyramid Bonus sector is the same: it does not show progress, and the bonus starts at random.

How does the Plinko Pyramid Bonus pay?

You get 20 balls and drop them one by one on a pyramid of 14 rows with 15 prizes at the bottom: 500x on both edges, 0.5x in the centre, and two Refill Balls sectors that add 10 balls each. The total is paid when the bonus ends.

What is the biggest win Tap-A-Roo lists?

The studio's page gives a Max payout of 1,190x the bet, R2,380 at a R2 bet by our arithmetic. It is the studio's figure, not a forecast, and the rules on the page name no win limit.
