How Gold Blitz Extreme pays
Fortune Factory Studios' page for the game lists six reels of four rows and '4096 ways', and Games Global's promo video opens on the same claim: 6 reels with stacked high pays. The symbols in the video are gold bars, bells, horseshoes, gold nuggets and a dollar sign over the usual 9 to A, by our reading of the pictures. No paytable is public, so this page gives no symbol values.
What sets the series apart is the cash symbol: a gold ticket printed with an amount. Games Global's launch post says these 'golden cash symbols' are worth 'up to 20x the player's bet' and may land in the base game. What pays them is a Blitz symbol, a lightning bolt in a blue disc.
Blitz symbols, the collect and the respin
The launch post sets the rule: 'When any Blitz symbol lands on reels one or six, each cash symbol will be collected and paid out.' The post names only the outer reels for the bolt, and one bolt is enough to take every ticket in view. In the video a single bolt on reel six gathers the tickets in view on a bet of 2.00, and the win counter reads 16.00.
A Blitz on both outer reels with no ticket in view is not wasted: by the post it leads to a respin that always ends in a win. The video calls it the Gold Blitz respin and shows the middle four reels dark while tickets drop into them, the two bolts still standing on reels one and six.
The pot and the four Rising Rewards jackpots
A ticket that lands without a bolt is not lost either. Games Global's post: players 'will receive a token which is added to a persistent pot. This sees the Rising Rewards jackpots scale increase', and 'accumulating tokens grants a greater chance of triggering the jackpot'. In the video the pot is a cauldron of coins at the bottom left, under four meters named Mega, Major, Minor and Mini, and a sign on the right reads Increases jackpot.
On the video's bet of 2.00 the Mini reads 10.00 and the Minor 20.00 in the opening shots, which is 5 and 10 times the bet by our division. The meters move with play: the Major reads 344.00 and later 346.00, the Mega 2,160.00 and later 2,162.00, and in one stretch the Minor climbs to 22.00 while the Mini stays at 10.00. The studio says the Jackpot Feature lets you 'ride a bolt of first-person lightning, collecting Cash prizes and at least one of the 4' jackpots, and the video shows that ride as a green tunnel with the four meters beside it.
The video counts in credits, not rand, and neither company says how often the jackpot feature comes.
Free spins or Gold Blitz super spins 🎁
Three or more bonus symbols, red gems marked Bonus, start the feature, and the player picks one of two rounds. The studio's page offers 'a storm of up to 30 Free Spins with Multiplying Wilds or 7 Gold Blitz super spins, complete with retriggers'. In the video four bonus symbols land and the choice screen shows Gold Blitz with 3 spins or Free Spins with 12, each carrying the same 4x.
In the free spins, Games Global's post says a '2x, 3x or 5x multiplier' comes with 'every wild that appears in a winning payline', and that more scatters add spins; the video's free-spins screen reads Bonus awards +5 free spins. The super spins collect cash on every spin and can retrigger, by the post: the video shows bolts on the outer reels, a counter of 1/3 and 2/3, and a +1 symbol that awards one more spin.
The bonus multiplier and the Bonus Buy
- Rising Rewards Bonus Multiplier. A meter with a padlock at the top left. The studio says it 'amplifies all Free Spins and Gold Blitz wins up to 5x'. In the video it moves from 3.5x to 4x on a spin where bonus symbols land; neither company says in public what moves it or when it falls back.
- Bonus Buy prices. The video's buy screen offers the round for 3, 4, 5 or 6 bonus symbols at 60.00, 100.00, 160.00 and 240.00 on a bet of 2.00, which is 30, 50, 80 and 120 times the bet by our division, each with the multiplier then active, 1x in that frame.
- A different return for the buy. Fortune Factory Studios lists 96.00% for the game and 96.25% with Bonus Buy.
- 5,500x. Games Global's launch post says the features 'can see players win up to 5,500x their stake'. It is Games Global's figure, not a win cap the rules state.
