Red Baron by Evolution: How the Crash Game Works, Its Two Variants and the 20,000x Maximum
Red Baron is Evolution's third crash game, after Stock Market and Race Track; the studio announced its launch on 12 November 2025. A plane takes off, a multiplier rises, and each of up to three bets pays only if it is cashed out before the plane flies away. Evolution sets the maximum multiplier at 20,000x and gives an RTP of 97.00% for any bet, and it runs the game in two variants: with a live video stream of a game host, or without one.

How a Red Baron round works
A round has two phases. In the Betting phase a timer runs and you place chips on your bet spots: pick a chip, tap a spot, and each tap adds the chip's value, up to the table's maximum, which the Bet Limits panel shows. When the timer expires, betting closes.
In the Flying phase the plane takes off and the multiplier begins to rise. Each bet pays its stake times the multiplier at the moment you cash it out, so R10 cashed out at 2.50x returns R25 (our arithmetic). You can cash out until the moment before the plane flies away; any bet still in the air then is lost.
Evolution's rules add that a random number generator decides when the plane flies away, and that occasionally it goes immediately, at 1.00x, taking every bet on the round with it.
Up to three bets, Auto Cash Out and Autoplay 💳
- Up to three independent bets. Evolution's game page allows up to three bets per round; the rules screen at your table says how many that table takes. Each bet sits on its own bet spot, added or removed with the plus and minus buttons, and is cashed out separately. If you switch to a screen that cannot show all your spots, the help says the extras are removed and their bets cashed out at once.
- Auto Cash Out on each bet. A toggle switches it on per bet, and the plus and minus buttons set the multiplier at which that bet cashes out by itself, so two bets in one flight can leave at different points. The payout table gives each bet 1.01 to 20,000 times the stake: the smallest cash-out on R10 returns R10.10 (our arithmetic).
- Autoplay needs Auto Cash Out. By the help, you start Autoplay by placing a bet, enabling Auto Cash Out and tapping Autoplay, and it switches off if none of your bets has Auto Cash Out on. Change the Auto Cash Out value mid-run and the game asks you to confirm; without that, Autoplay stops.
- Repeat, Double and the house edge. Repeat places last round's bets again with their Auto Cash Out multipliers, and Double doubles all your bets, up to the maximum limit. Neither changes the odds, and no staking pattern, doubling after a loss included, beats the house edge.
Two variants: with the game host on video, or without
Evolution runs Red Baron in two variants, to meet the needs of different markets and jurisdictions, as its launch news puts it. Variant 1 has a live video stream of the game host, in a red uniform; Variant 2 has no live stream of the host. The game page gives one set of rules and then lists both, and in those rules a random number generator ends each flight.

The 20,000x maximum and the table's payout limit
Evolution puts the top multiplier at 20,000x, and the help's Payouts section says it in as many words: "The maximum multiplier is 20,000x." On R10 that is R200,000 (our arithmetic).
A table can also carry a payout limit in money. The help's Payouts section then reads that the maximum payout is 20,000x or that amount, whichever is lower. On a single bet, the limit divided by the stake gives the multiplier where it bites (our arithmetic), so a bigger stake meets it sooner. What ends the flight, and what the statistics are for
Neither the game page nor the help mentions a provably fair check, a seed or a hash: the rules rest on a random number generator deciding when the plane flies away.
The numbers on screen are a record, not a forecast: Top Wins for the last round and the last hour during betting (only the last round on mobile devices), a live list of players cashing out during the flight (desktop view only), and a lane of earlier rounds' final multipliers, newest on the left. A channel selling Red Baron signals claims to know a number the rules say is random.
Your phone, your connection and a disputed round
- Keep the game on screen while betting is open. The help warns that minimising the browser or opening another tab while betting time remains, with bets on the table, may be read as leaving the game, and the bets are then declined for that round.
- Watch the latency counter. The game can show your connection's delay in milliseconds, in green, yellow or red. Evolution warns that a slow or unstable connection can delay bets and cash-outs.
- If you drop out. Bets in play when you lose the connection after betting has closed stay valid and are settled in your absence, by Evolution's disconnection policy; the History window shows the result.
- Malfunctions and complaints. A malfunction voids the round and its payouts, and bets are returned. Each round has a game number that reflects when it began, in GMT: note it or screenshot it before contacting support.
