How Cash Volt works
Cash Volt runs on five reels and three rows with 20 paylines. The ordinary symbols are fruit-machine classics: Red Tiger's own screenshots show cherries, a lemon, single, double and triple bars, a star, a horseshoe, a bell and a seven. They pay along the lines, and Red Tiger's rules price every line win in multiples of the total stake, not in credits: the prize on one line is the total stake times the multiplier the paytable gives that symbol. Those multipliers are in the game's Pays menu.
Wins on different lines are added together. When one line holds more than one win, only the largest is paid, and each line pays once per spin. The rules list no wild symbol, so nothing stands in for another symbol on a line.
The Cash Volt symbol follows different rules. It is a scatter: where it lands does not matter, only how many land. Six or more anywhere on the screen trigger an instant prize from a fixed ladder, and that prize is added to whatever the lines paid on the same spin.
That is the whole feature set. The game's rules describe no free spins round, no bonus game, no gamble option and no feature buy, and they call the Cash Volt prize an Instant Win, paid on the spin that lands it.

Not the ladder of Cash Volt Supercharged
The table above is the 2020 original's. Red Tiger's page for Cash Volt Supercharged, a separate game released in October 2025, lists a different ladder for the same six to fifteen symbols. Six pay 7x there rather than 5x, but ten pay 50x instead of 100x, twelve pay 250x instead of 500x and thirteen pay 500x instead of 750x. Seven, eight, fourteen and fifteen pay the same in both games, and the top rung is 2,500x in each.
Super Cash Volt: how the 2x2 and 3x3 blocks count
Cash Volt also lands as larger blocks, and Red Tiger's rule for them is short: every part of a block that lands on the screen counts as a separate symbol.
- A 2x2 block adds four. A whole 2x2 block counts as four, so one block and two single Cash Volt symbols already make six, the first count that pays.
- A 3x3 block adds nine. A 3x3 block that lands whole covers nine of the fifteen positions and is worth 50x on its own; three more Cash Volt symbols anywhere take the count to twelve and the prize to 500x.
- Only the visible part counts. Only parts that land on the screen count. A 2x2 cut off by the edge of the reels, showing just its lower half, adds two, not four.
- Fifteen is the whole screen. A 5x3 grid has fifteen positions, so the 2,500x rung needs every one of them to show Cash Volt. That spin has no ordinary symbol left for a line win, and 2,500x is also the game's published maximum.
What a 19.15% hit rate means for a session
Red Tiger's page rates Cash Volt's volatility as high and gives its hit frequency as 19.15%: roughly four spins in five pay nothing at all. That figure says how often a spin pays, not how much.
How much the Cash Volt count pays is published in full. The first rung is small: six symbols pay 5x, which at R2 a spin is R10, the price of five more spins. The ladder turns steep from nine symbols, where 50x becomes 100x, then 250x and 500x, and the fifteenth symbol makes the biggest single jump, from 1,000x to 2,500x, the game's published maximum.
Nothing else is yours to steer. The rules offer no bet mode, feature buy or gamble, so the only decision is the stake, and every prize in the rules is a multiple of it. No staking pattern or change of stake beats the house edge built into the game's return.
