How Fire Strike works
Underneath the flames this is a plain line slot: five reels, three rows and ten paylines, with every spin betting on all ten. Wins pay left to right from the leftmost reel, only the highest win on each line is paid, and wins on several lines are added together.
The regular symbols are casino classics: three coloured 7s at the top, then a diamond, cash, chips, playing cards and dice, with BARs at the bottom. A line of mixed 7s pays too, at the lowest rate. Five red 7s on a line pay 100x the total bet.
Two symbols carry the flame, and they do different jobs. The Fire Strike Wild substitutes for all symbols, appears on all five reels and pays in its own right: five on a line are worth 200x the total bet, the best line win in the game. The plain Fire Strike symbol has no line prize at all. It exists for the count.
That count is the Fire Strike Bonus. When the reels stop, every Fire Strike and Fire Strike Wild on the screen is added up, wherever it landed. Six or more pay an instant cash prize, multiplied by the total bet rather than the line bet. The prize table above the reels shows each count in cash at your current stake.
And that is the whole game. Pragmatic's rules screens for Fire Strike describe no free spins, no bonus buy and no gamble feature, and nothing that carries over from one spin to the next, so each spin is settled the moment the reels stop.

Pragmatic's rules screen lists these prizes at the demo's default bet of 2.00. Bonus wins are multiplied by the total bet, so here they are as multiples of it and in rand at a R2 spin. Fire Strike Wilds count towards every row.

Reading the count, and the small print in it
The prize ladder is lopsided, and its shape explains how a Fire Strike session feels.
- Six is your stake back. Six symbols pay exactly 1x the total bet and seven pay 2x. Six counts as a win, but on its own it only returns the stake.
- Each extra symbol at least doubles the prize. Every added symbol doubles the prize or more, from 1x for six to 5,000x for fifteen. Prizes that change a session start around eleven, which is more than two-thirds of the screen on fire at once.
- Wilds work on both fronts. A Fire Strike Wild counts towards the bonus and substitutes on the paylines. A plain Fire Strike symbol only ever helps the count, so five of them with no wild on the screen add nothing.
- Fifteen can mean two different results. Fifteen fire symbols with at least one plain Fire Strike among them pay the 5,000x prize. Only fifteen Fire Strike Wilds, a wild on every position, win the 25,000x Grand Jackpot.
- Some line wins are losses. Three single BARs, three double BARs or a line of three mixed 7s pay half the total bet. If that is the only win on the spin, you are down by the other half.
Low volatility and a 25,000x jackpot in the same game 📊
Pragmatic's own rules screen rates Fire Strike as low volatility, games that in the studio's words 'pay out more often in smaller amounts, while still having the chance to win big'. The prize table shows both halves: three of a kind on a line pays from half the total bet to 25x, counts of six to eight fire symbols pay 1x to 8x, and single prizes of 150x or more need at least eleven fire symbols or five wilds on one line.
So read the top of the prize table as a long shot, not a plan. With no free spins round and nothing carried between spins, there is nothing building up and no feature that is 'due'. No staking pattern or system beats the house edge built into the game.
