Aviator vs JetX vs Spaceman: Three Crash Games Compared
Aviator, JetX and Spaceman look alike: a multiplier rises, and you either take your money before the round ends or lose the stake. Underneath, they differ in bets per round, in what moves the return and in what happens when your connection drops.

RTP here is the figure the studio publishes. Some studios let the casino choose one of several settings, and in some games the bet you pick or the moment you cash out moves the return; each game guide says which applies.
How a round differs
All three open the same way: your bet goes in before the round, a multiplier rises from 1x, and you cash out before Aviator's plane flies away, JetX's jet explodes or Spaceman's multiplier crashes.
Aviator lets a round carry two bets: Spribe's own screenshot of the game shows two bet panels next to each other, each with a Bet and an Auto tab. Spribe's game page gives the game one return, 97%.
The JetX our pages describe takes one bet or two per flight, and both can run on autoplay with their own auto cash-out. SmartSoft's newer JetX, out since September 2026, accepts one, two or four.
Spaceman's help describes one bet per round, cashed out whole or half first and the rest later, by hand or with two auto cash-outs set before the round (the 50% one must be the lower). The help gives one return for the whole game, 95.50%, with no separate figure for the half cash-out.
Four rules that change your decisions
- Your exit point, in JetX. Spribe's page and Spaceman's help each give one figure for the whole game. JetX's is a range, 96.2% to 98.9%, and SmartSoft's rules put the top on the lowest cash-out multiplier; one jurisdiction's version of the rules, with a range of its own, puts its top at always cashing out at 1.01x and its bottom at 73.7x. Your exit point moves what the game returns, not only what you win.
- A second stake, in Aviator and JetX. Two bets of R10 cost R20 a round (our sum). A split between an early and a late target changes how a round can end, but adds no return of its own: each bet returns what its own target returns.
- Half a stake, in Spaceman. The 50% cash-out banks half at the current multiplier and leaves half running. Against riding the whole stake to your later target, fewer rounds end with nothing and the top win is smaller; the help gives no separate return for it.
- Auto cash-out, in all three. In Spaceman and JetX, a tap on cash out only sends a request, and you are paid the multiplier of the moment the game server handles it: usually around 100-200 ms later by Spaceman's help, 200-300 ms by JetX's rules. An auto cash-out pays at the value you set if the round gets there, the safer choice on a slow mobile connection.
What the numbers mean in rand
Per R1,000 staked, the house keeps R45 in theory at Spaceman's 95.50% and R30 at Aviator's 97%; in JetX, from R11 at the top of the range to R38 at the bottom (our arithmetic). These are long-run averages: one session can end far from all of them.
The max wins the table shows for JetX and Spaceman are ceilings, not targets: each game's rules pay out a bet still running when the multiplier gets there. Both also cap a win in money. Spaceman's help limits a payout to 5000x or €500,000, whichever comes first, so above a stake worth €100 the money cap comes first (our arithmetic), and JetX's rules set a maximum win per bet.
If your connection drops mid-round
SmartSoft's and Pragmatic Play's rules say what happens to a live bet, and they differ.
- JetX. SmartSoft counts a loss of connection only after more than six seconds. In flight, the system cashes you out where the multiplier stood when it noticed (the newer JetX's rules say it will try). Drop after betting but before take-off and stay away, and the bet pays only if the round reaches the win cap. An auto cash-out keeps a dropped bet in until your target or the explosion.
- Spaceman. Pragmatic Play's help cancels a bet if you drop before BETS CLOSED and refunds it if you drop before the multiplier moves, unless the round crashes at 1.00x. In flight, it forces a cash-out as soon as you drop, provided the multiplier has reached 1.01x and the round has not crashed.
No predictor can read any of the three 🚫
Pragmatic Play's help calls Spaceman's crash point random and predetermined; SmartSoft's rules for its newer JetX leave each result to the game system, beyond anything a player does; Spribe's page says Aviator's curve "can crash anytime". An app or a signal channel has nothing to read.

Which one suits you
Aviator, if you want two bets and other players around you: Spribe's page lists live bets, where everyone sees what others stake and win, and an in-game chat. Spribe also says it built the game for budget devices on low bandwidth.
JetX, if you are happy to take the smallest wins: SmartSoft ties its best return, 98.9%, the highest here, to the lowest cash-out multiplier, and even the bottom of its range beats Spaceman's figure.
Spaceman, if you want to bank part of a win without a second stake. Its published return is the lowest of the three, 95.50%.
Whichever you pick, set a budget before the first round; our responsible gambling page lists free help.
Aviator vs JetX vs Spaceman FAQ ❓
Which of the three pays back the most?
JetX at its best: SmartSoft's rules put its top return, 98.9%, at the lowest cash-out multiplier, and its range starts at 96.2%. Spribe's game page gives Aviator 97%, and Spaceman's own help gives 95.50%. Every figure is below 100%, so over a long run all three pay back less than they take.
Which of the three lets me bet twice in a round?
Aviator and JetX. Spribe's own screenshot of Aviator shows two bet panels next to each other, and the JetX our pages describe takes one or two bets a flight; SmartSoft's newer JetX takes one, two or four. Spaceman's help describes one bet a round, but you can cash out half of it and leave the rest running.
Does Spaceman's 50% cash-out change the return?
Not by its help, which gives one return for the game, 95.50%, and no separate figure for the half cash-out. What changes is the spread: half is banked at the multiplier of that moment, and only the other half is left to win more or be lost.
Does JetX really return more if I cash out early?
At the very lowest multiplier, yes: SmartSoft's own rules put the best return there. One jurisdiction's version of the rules, with a range of its own, names the two ends, a player who always takes 1.01x for the maximum and one who always takes 73.7x for the minimum; neither version gives a figure for the targets in between. Even the top of the range is below 100%.
Can an app predict when any of them will crash?
No. Pragmatic Play calls Spaceman's crash point random and predetermined, Spribe's page says Aviator's curve "can crash anytime", and SmartSoft's rules for its newer JetX say nothing a player does influences a round's result. Predictor apps and signal channels have nothing to read, and many want a subscription or your casino login.
