The half cash-out is the whole game
In Aviator you have one decision per bet: out or not out. Spaceman splits that decision in two. You can take 50% of your stake at the current multiplier and leave the remaining half running for a higher one. The round then has two possible endings for the same bet.
What this does, in practice, is let a single stake behave a little like Aviator's two-panel split without requiring you to plan two bets before the round starts. You can decide mid-round, based on what you are watching, which is both the appeal and the trap: the game hands you a way to act on a feeling at the exact moment feelings are least reliable.
Learning where that button is and what it does to your return is worth twenty free rounds. Learning your own habit of reaching for it is worth more.
What to do with your first twenty rounds
A short, specific programme. It will teach you more than an hour of unfocused play.
- Five rounds with no half cash-out. Play it as a plain crash game with a single exit point. This gives you a baseline for how Spaceman's pace and multiplier curve feel without the extra control.
- Five rounds taking half early, every time. Take the 50% at a low multiplier on every round, whatever is happening. You will see how often the remaining half survives and how often it does not, which is the information the button is actually offering you.
- Five rounds letting the second half run long. Take half early, then aim the remainder high. Expect to lose the second half most of the time. Notice how that feels, because that feeling is what you will be managing with real money.
- Five rounds where you plan both exits in advance. Decide both numbers before the round starts and stick to them. Compare how that session felt against the improvised ones. This is the habit worth carrying into real play.

Pragmatic Play gives Spaceman a theoretical RTP of 95.50% in the game's own help screen, with a maximum win of 5,000x; the game launched on 24 March 2022. The house edge at that figure is 4.5%, against Aviator's 3%. On a crash game, where the only decision is when to leave, that gap is the price of every round.
The 5,000x ceiling is considerably lower than JetX's stated 25,000x, and lower ceilings on crash games generally mean a distribution with fewer enormous outliers. That is not a drawback. It is a different shape of game, and for a player cashing out in the low multipliers it changes very little.
