Triple Tigers is a classic three-reel slot, and Pragmatic Play's game page describes it in one sentence: 'a 3×3, 1 line classic slot with a strong paytable'. Three reels turn, one line across the middle row decides the spin, and three matching symbols on it pay one of nine fixed prizes, from 10x the bet for any three bars to 500x for three gold tigers. There is no wild, no free spins and no bonus game.
RTP (return to player): the share of bets the game pays back over time, as Pragmatic Play publishes it.
Figures from provider data, September 2026. The RTP is the figure the studio publishes; check the ranking and the game's own info screen before you deposit.

How Triple Tigers works
Three reels spin in a gold frame, and when they stop each shows one large symbol across the middle. The single payline is that middle row: the line diagram on the first rules page of Pragmatic's official demo lights only the centre row of a three by three grid and numbers it 1, and the bet menu reads 'Betting on 1 lines'.
A spin wins when all three reels stop on the same symbol along that line. The rules put it in the studio's usual words, 'All symbols pay from left to right on adjacent reels starting from the leftmost reel', but with three reels and every prize listed for three of a kind, it comes down to a full line or nothing. The one mixed win is the bottom row of the paytable: any three bars, whatever their kind.
The paytable is printed on the left of the screen during play, in cash at the current bet, and it moves with the stake: at the demo's default $2.00 three gold tigers show $1,000.00, and at $3.00 they show $1,500.00. The bet is set with coins per line and coin value; since there is one line, the bet per line and the total bet are the same amount.
The four rules pages describe nothing else. There is no wild to complete a line, no scatter, no free spins, no multiplier and no feature to buy, and they mention nothing that carries over from one spin to the next.
Triple Tigers paytable as multiples of the bet
The rules screen gives each prize for three on the line at the current stake. At the demo's $2.00 bet three gold tigers read $1,000.00, so each row's amount at that bet, halved, gives the multiple below (our arithmetic). At R1 a spin, 80x is R80 and 500x is R500.
| Three on the line | Pays | At R1 a spin |
|---|---|---|
| Gold tiger | 500x | R500 |
| Purple tiger | 300x | R300 |
| Green tiger | 200x | R200 |
| Red 8 | 100x | R100 |
| Gold paw coin | 80x | R80 |
| Triple bar | 50x | R50 |
| Double bar | 30x | R30 |
| Single bar | 20x | R20 |
| Any three bars, mixed | 10x | R10 |
What the nine rows of the Triple Tigers paytable say
- The three tigers are the top three prizes. Gold pays 500x, purple 300x and green 200x. Together they are the game's name, and nothing else on the reels pays more than half of the green tiger.
- The middle of the table is an 8 and a paw. Three red 8s pay 100x and three gold coins with a tiger's paw pay 80x, between the tigers above and the bars below.
- Bars climb by kind, and mixing them still pays. Three single bars pay 20x, three double bars 30x and three triple bars 50x. A line of bars that do not match, say a single, a double and a triple, pays the 'Any bar' prize of 10x, the smallest win in the game.
- One line means one prize per spin. With a single line and every win made of three symbols, a spin can land one combination at most, so by our reading of the paytable the most a spin can pay is the 500x of three gold tigers. The rules screens name no separate win limit.
Two RTP figures from the same studio
Pragmatic's game page lists 'RTP: 96.52%' under Basic Game Info. The first rules page of the official demo, linked from that page, says 'The theoretical RTP of this game is 97.52 %'. The two differ by exactly one point, and neither page explains it.
This page gives both and picks neither. A casino's copy may not run the same figure as the demo, and the one that counts for you is the one printed on the rules screen of the copy your casino runs: open the 'i' button in the game before you set a budget around it.
Another Triple Tigers in some lobbies
The name is not Pragmatic's alone. On 24 September 2026 the game lists of Springbok and Thunderbolt, both of them RTG casinos, carried RTG's own Triple Tigers, filed among their five-reel slots, and no game of Pragmatic Play at all. That is a different game from another studio, and nothing on this page describes it.
The two are easy to tell apart inside the game. Pragmatic's version shows its paytable of nine rows down the left of the screen, opens rules headed 'Game rules' with 'Page 1/4', and prints Pragmatic Play in the bottom corner.
What a one-line game asks of your budget
Pragmatic publishes no volatility rating for Triple Tigers, either on the game page or on the rules screens, and no hit rate. What the paytable does show is that every win is three of a kind on one line, and that the smallest one is 10x the bet: the rules list no part-line win below that.
The stake changes the rand amounts on screen, not the prizes in multiples. Betting less means more spins from the same budget, not better odds, and no staking pattern or system beats the house edge built into the game. Spins are quick, and the demo offers quick spin, turbo spin and autoplay, so a time limit belongs next to the rand limit.
Triple Tigers RTP and volatility
Pragmatic Play gives Triple Tigers's return to player as 96.52%.

Pros, cons and verdict
- Three reels, one line and nine prizes: the whole game is on the screen
- The paytable stays in view during play, in cash at your stake
- Mixed bars still pay 10x the bet
- Two RTP figures on Pragmatic's own pages, both above 96.5%
- No wild, scatter, free spins or bonus round
- Every win needs all three reels on one line
- No volatility rating published by the studio
- Two different RTP figures, with no word on which a casino runs
Triple Tigers is a fruit-machine idea with tigers in place of fruit: three reels, one line, and a short ladder of prizes from mixed bars at 10x to three gold tigers at 500x. It has nothing to trigger and nothing to learn. Pick it if you want one of the plainest slots Pragmatic offers; skip it if a bonus round is the reason you play slots.
Triple Tigers FAQ
How many paylines does Triple Tigers have?
One. Pragmatic's game page calls it 'a 3×3, 1 line classic slot', the rules screen lights only the middle row, and the bet menu reads 'Betting on 1 lines'. Every spin is decided by the three symbols along that row.
What do three gold tigers pay?
500x the bet. The demo shows $1,000.00 at a $2.00 bet and $1,500.00 at $3.00, which is our division of those amounts. At R1 a spin that is R500, and with one line it is also the largest prize a single spin can land.
Does Triple Tigers have a wild or free spins?
No. The four rules pages of Pragmatic's official demo describe no wild, scatter, free spins, multiplier or bonus game. Wins come only from three matching symbols, or any three bars, on the line.
What is the RTP of Triple Tigers?
Pragmatic's game page gives 96.52%, while the rules screen of its official demo says 'The theoretical RTP of this game is 97.52 %'. The rules screen inside your casino's game shows the figure that copy runs at.
Is Triple Tigers by Pragmatic the same as RTG's Triple Tigers?
No. They are two games from two studios that share a name. On 24 September 2026 the RTG casinos Springbok and Thunderbolt listed RTG's version, filed among their five-reel slots, not Pragmatic's. Pragmatic's has three reels, shows nine paytable rows on the left and its name in the corner.
