Wild Trucks in South Africa: Truck Meters, Wild Reels and Linked Rows
Wild Trucks is a Habanero slot, dated 2019 on the studio's own site: five reels of three and 15 fixed lines, where a win need not start on reel one. Each reel collects its own truck, and the fourth turns that reel wild for the spin. How Wild Trucks works
Five reels of three rows carry 15 fixed lines: a spin costs 15 coins times the bet level, so coin size and bet level set the stake, a pair Habanero calls a bet configuration.
Wins pay along a line 'in succession starting anywhere on the bet line', so a run of three can sit on reels one to three, two to four or three to five. Each line pays only its longest win, and wins on different lines add up.
Five trucks head the regular symbols, the red one worth the most and the blue the least; below them sit a skull gear knob, a tyre, a petrol nozzle, a piston, a pair of dice and a cap. The wild, a gold trophy stamped WILD, substitutes for all symbols and on its own pays only for five in a row: 75,000 line bets, 5,000 times the total bet by our division.
What each symbol pays on a R7.50 spin
Habanero's rules screen prints each pay as money at the current bet. The rand columns are those amounts at R7.50, the opening bet of its demo (15 coins of 0.50, bet level 1); the last column is our division of the five-symbol pay by that bet.

The truck meters: how a reel turns wild
Each reel collects one truck: red on reel one, yellow on two, purple on three, orange on four and blue on five. A truck counts only on its own reel and only when it lands, and the count shows in a four-step meter on top of that reel.
The fourth collected truck turns the reel into an expanding wild for that same spin, before pays. Surplus collections are retained: by our arithmetic, a meter at three that takes two trucks in one spin makes the wild and keeps one step lit.
Collections are saved for each bet configuration, the coin and the bet level together, so the meters on screen belong to the pair you play. In Habanero's demo, 7.50 can be a coin of 0.50 at level 1, 0.10 at level 5 or 0.05 at level 10: three configurations and, by our reading, three sets of meters. Trucks collected at a small stake do not count toward the meters of a bigger one.
The free games: the same truck on reels 1, 3 and 5
The rules put the trigger as 'the same Truck or Wild symbol appearing once only on reels 1, 3 and 5'. The red truck awards 25 free games, yellow 20, purple 15, orange 12 and blue 10, and a wild on reels 1, 3 and 5 awards 75. Games from several trigger combinations are added: red and blue together give 35, by our arithmetic.
In the round, when two or more of the same truck appear in one row, every symbol between the leftmost and the rightmost of them becomes that truck before pays, one truck per row, the longest and highest-paying. By our reading of the two rules, a linked stretch of three or more pays on its row's line even when it starts on reel two or three.
By our arithmetic at R7.50, red trucks at both ends of the top row turn it red, and line 1, which runs along that row, pays R600. The round keeps the lines and bet of the triggering spin and cannot be retriggered.
Reading the x75,000 against the paytable
Habanero's game page lists a maximum multiplier of x75,000. By our arithmetic, five wilds on one line pay 5,000 times the total bet, and all 15 lines paying five wilds make 75,000; lines 1 to 3 are the three rows, so a spin that pays that needs a wild on all fifteen positions. Neither the page nor the rules say how often that happens.
Below the wild, five red trucks on a line pay 80 times the total bet; three orange or blue trucks return the stake, and three pistons, dice or caps a third of it, by our division.
