Diamond Blitz is a Red Tiger slot released on 9 April 2020: five reels, four rows and 20 win lines, with what the studio calls a throwback look and pub slot feel. Both of its features turn on the Wild diamond. A Wild locks where it lands and slips one row lower after every spin until it drops off the bottom. Blitz Mode can trigger at random at any time, and in its Blitz Spins each Wild drops to the lowest free position, locks and adds a spin.

How Diamond Blitz works
Diamond Blitz shows five reels of four symbols each and pays along 20 win lines. The symbols in Red Tiger's artwork for the game are the classic fruit machine set: cherries, a lemon, grapes, a watermelon, a BAR, a star, a horseshoe, a bell and a seven. The Wild is a cut diamond with WILD written across it, and the game's rules list two special features, Falling Wilds and Blitz Mode, both of them about that diamond.
The Wild substitutes for all paying symbols, and it can outlast the spin it lands on. By Red Tiger's rule it locks where it appears and moves down one row after each spin, and it disappears when it moves one position below the bottom row. The rest of the screen keeps spinning around it, so a Wild that lands high is part of several results in a row.
The rules describe no scatter symbol, and Red Tiger's page records no feature buy. Blitz Mode, the game's one extra mode, can trigger randomly at any time, even on a spin that also pays line wins.
How many spins a falling Wild lasts
Because a Wild drops one row after each spin, the row it lands in decides how long it stays in the base game, as long as Blitz Mode does not start in the meantime. The counts are our arithmetic from Red Tiger's rule, not figures the studio prints.

Blitz Mode can trigger randomly at any time, including on a spin that pays line wins. The rules name no symbol or count that sets it off. -

Wilds drop and lock
During Blitz Spins, the rules say, the moving Wilds move to the bottom of the slot or to the lowest free position; Red Tiger's page describes them locking in place when they reach the bottom or meet another Wild. A Wild that gets there stays locked until the mode ends. -
Each locked Wild adds a spin
In the rules' words, when the Wilds reach the lowest free position they 'lock for the duration of the mode and award one more Blitz Spin'. By our count, a Blitz Mode therefore lasts five spins plus one for each Wild that locks during it. -
After the mode
When Blitz Mode ends, the locked Wilds do not vanish. They continue down one position per spin until they leave the reels, so the base game can go on with Wilds already in place.

Red Tiger's page gives Diamond Blitz a hit frequency of 23.06%. By our arithmetic that is, on average, a little under one winning spin in four, and a little over three in four that return nothing. The figure counts how often a spin pays, not how much it pays.
The same page lists the maximum payout as 560 times the bet: R560 on a R1 spin, R1,120 at R2 and R5,600 at R10, by our arithmetic.
